
The Institute for Human Adjustment serves the University and the broader community with intervention programs of the highest quality to assist individuals, couples and families with difficulties in adjustment, learning and communication. The IHA provides state of the art educational opportunities for providers-in-training in these areas, and conducts research on important facets of these activities.
IHA is comprised of three units: University Center for the Development of Language and Literacy (UCLL); Psychological Clinic (Clinic); University Center for the Child and the Family (UCCF). The IHA Central Office (IHA-CO) provides overall administrative leadership for the IHA and its units, and supplies functional administrative support in the areas of strategic planning, budgeting and accounting, HR, marketing and development and IT. The IHA-CO aims to provide continuous review of our programs and our administrative support so as to maximize progress towards unit goals.
